Paperback Swap and Idea Exchange

Paperback Book Swap

This is a new addition to our conference and a great place to pick up a new read for free. Bring a book from your collection and stop by the Grand Pavilion. See what others recommend, get ideas, or just browse through titles. We hope to make this an annual event!

Idea Exchange

If you bring copies of a teaching idea, leave your handout at the registration desk and get a ticket for the IDEA EXCHANGE. You may present your ticket at the registration desk after 8am on Saturday morning and pick up all copies of the handouts from colleagues across the state.

First Year English Language Arts Teachers: Memberships are free!

Under Construction

Welcome to NCETA's new webpage!
Though it is currently under construction, keep checking back for updates.

What is NCETA?

Founded in 1943 to improve the quality of instruction in English at all levels, the North Carolina English Teachers Association is unique among professional organizations. It offers the only opportunity in North Carolina for English and language arts teachers to build a statewide professional community. It is our most effective means for fostering the professional growth of English/language arts teachers and for influencing decisions about curriculum and instruction at national, state, and local levels.
